Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 September 2026 Welcome to Setwise. These Terms explain the basic rules for using the Setwise website, dashboard, Question Bank, practice sets, revision resources and other Setwise services. By purchasing a Setwise product, activating an Access Code or using our paid services, you agree to these Terms.

1. What is Setwise?

Setwise is an educational practice platform for students preparing for entrance examinations. We provide tools such as:

  • Question Banks
  • Topic-wise practice
  • Revision resources
  • Performance tracking
  • Practice dashboards
  • Other preparation resources Setwise is an independent educational platform. We are not officially connected with or endorsed by any IIM, university or examination authority unless specifically mentioned. For official exam dates, eligibility, syllabus or admission rules, always refer to the official examination or college website.

2. Try the Demo Before Buying

Setwise provides a free demo dashboard so that you can understand the platform before purchasing. Before buying, we strongly recommend that you:

  • try the demo;
  • check how the dashboard works;
  • look at the type of questions available;
  • check the features included in the product;
  • try it on the device you plan to use; and
  • ask us any questions you have. Once you purchase and receive paid access, the purchase is generally non-refundable. Not using the demo before purchasing does not create a right to a refund.

3. Products and Access

Setwise may offer different products, subjects and bundles. Before purchasing, please check:

  • which subjects are included;
  • which features are included;
  • the price;
  • the access period; and
  • what exactly you are purchasing. Buying one product does not automatically give you access to other Setwise products. Access is only considered “lifetime” if we clearly mention that it is lifetime access.

4. Your Access Code

Paid access may be provided using a Setwise Access Code. Your Access Code is personal to you. You may use it on a maximum of two devices at a time, unless we specifically allow otherwise. You must not:

  • share your Access Code with friends;
  • post it publicly;
  • sell your Access Code;
  • buy one account for multiple students; or
  • use another student's Access Code. If we detect unusual or repeated sharing, we may temporarily suspend the account and ask the purchaser to verify it. Serious or repeated sharing may result in permanent cancellation of access. No refund will normally be provided where access is cancelled because of deliberate sharing or misuse.

5. Setwise Content is for Personal Use

The Setwise Question Bank, solutions, revision material and other educational content are provided for your personal preparation only. You may not:

  • copy or distribute large amounts of Setwise content;
  • share questions or solutions in WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord or other groups;
  • upload our material to Google Drive or similar platforms;
  • post our Question Bank on websites or social media;
  • sell or resell Setwise material;
  • use our content in another course or Question Bank;
  • systematically screenshot or screen-record the platform;
  • use bots or software to copy our content; or
  • create another commercial educational product using Setwise content. Normal personal use while studying is allowed. Purchasing access gives you permission to use the content. It does not give you ownership of the content.

6. Payments

Some Setwise payments may currently be handled manually. Normally:

  1. You choose a product.
  2. You contact the Setwise team.
  3. We share payment details.
  4. You make the payment.
  5. We verify the payment.
  6. We issue your Access Code or access instructions. Access starts only after Setwise confirms that the payment has been received. A payment screenshot by itself does not confirm that the payment was successfully received. Please make payments only to payment details provided through official Setwise channels.

7. Prices and Discounts

The price shown or communicated when you purchase is the price applicable to your purchase. Setwise may later:

  • increase or decrease prices;
  • introduce discounts;
  • remove discounts; or
  • change its product bundles. If a product becomes cheaper after you purchase it, you will not normally receive a refund for the price difference.

8. Refund Policy

Please try the demo before purchasing. Because Setwise provides digital educational content that becomes available after an Access Code is issued, purchases are generally final and non-refundable once paid access has been issued or activated. Refunds will normally not be provided because:

  • you changed your mind;
  • you decided not to prepare for the exam;
  • you stopped using Setwise;
  • you purchased another course or Question Bank;
  • you forgot to use your access;
  • your study plans changed;
  • you later preferred another platform;
  • you expected a feature that was never advertised;
  • you did not try the free demo before purchasing; or
  • you do not like the interface or style of questions after purchasing.

Duplicate Payment

If you accidentally pay twice for the same product, contact us. Once verified, we can refund the duplicate payment or adjust it toward another Setwise product.

Payment Made but Access Not Received

If we successfully receive your payment but fail to provide the purchased access, contact us. We will first try to provide your access. If Setwise is unable to provide the product you purchased within a reasonable period, an appropriate refund may be provided.

Wrong Product Purchased

If you accidentally purchase the wrong Setwise product, contact us before your Access Code is issued or activated. We may allow the amount to be adjusted toward the correct package. Once paid access has been issued or used, a change or refund may not be possible.

Genuine Service Problems

Nothing in this policy removes any refund or consumer right that Setwise is legally required to provide. If a paid product is not provided, is materially different from what was advertised or has another serious issue that legally requires a remedy, we will review the matter appropriately.

9. Technical Issues

We aim to keep Setwise working smoothly, but temporary issues may sometimes happen because of:

  • maintenance;
  • server problems;
  • software updates;
  • hosting problems;
  • internet outages; or
  • third-party services. Short periods of downtime will not normally qualify for a refund. If a major Setwise-side technical problem prevents users from accessing paid services for a significant period, we may restore access, extend the access period or provide another suitable solution. Users are responsible for having a working internet connection and reasonably compatible device/browser.

10. Mistakes in Questions or Content

We try to keep Setwise content accurate, but occasional mistakes can happen. These may include:

  • typing errors;
  • incorrect options;
  • calculation mistakes;
  • formatting problems;
  • diagram issues;
  • outdated information; or
  • incomplete explanations. If you notice an issue, please report it to us and we will review it. An occasional error in a question or solution does not automatically make the entire product eligible for a refund. Setwise may correct, replace or update content whenever required.

11. Exam Changes

Examination authorities may change their:

  • syllabus;
  • exam pattern;
  • marking scheme;
  • eligibility rules;
  • examination dates;
  • admission process; or
  • participating colleges. These changes are outside Setwise's control. We may update our resources when required, but students should always check important exam information from official sources.

12. Setwise Does Not Guarantee Results

Setwise is a preparation and practice platform. Using Setwise does not guarantee:

  • a particular score;
  • a particular percentile;
  • an interview call;
  • admission to an IIM or college; or
  • any other examination result. Your performance depends on many factors, including your preparation and exam-day performance. Any testimonials or student results shown on Setwise represent individual experiences and are not guaranteed results.

13. Misuse of the Platform

You must not try to:

  • hack Setwise;
  • bypass Access Code restrictions;
  • access another user's account;
  • scrape or automatically copy content;
  • manipulate the dashboard;
  • introduce harmful software; or
  • interfere with the normal working of the platform. Serious misuse may result in immediate suspension or permanent cancellation of access. Setwise may also suspend or cancel access for:
  • Access Code sharing;
  • reselling accounts;
  • content piracy;
  • payment fraud;
  • hacking;
  • repeated violations of these Terms; or
  • abusive behaviour toward Setwise team members. Access cancelled because of serious misuse will normally not be refundable.

14. Mentors and External Links

Setwise may feature mentors, students, alumni or other professionals. Their presence on Setwise does not guarantee:

  • their availability;
  • specific advice;
  • admission results; or
  • any particular outcome. Any separately paid mentoring service may have its own terms. Setwise may also link to third-party websites or services. These platforms operate under their own rules and privacy policies.

15. Privacy

Setwise may collect information needed to:

  • provide your access;
  • confirm payments;
  • manage Access Codes;
  • provide support;
  • prevent misuse;
  • improve the platform; and
  • communicate important account information. More information about how we handle personal information will be available in our separate Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to Setwise

We may improve or change parts of Setwise over time, including:

  • dashboard design;
  • navigation;
  • analytics;
  • question organisation;
  • revision resources; and
  • other features. Small design or feature changes do not create an automatic right to a refund. We may also update these Terms when Setwise changes or when required by law. The latest version will always be published on our website.
